Wine will continue to be appreciated in the centuries to come if vineyard and cellar practices are carried out with a respect for nature, and if wine is enjoyed in moderation.
In recent years, comprehensive, scientific results of medical research have been published. These outline some of the possible benefits that moderate wine consumption can have on the human organism, such as improved circulation and blood values, reduced risk of heart attack and/or kidney stones, as well as positive effects on the digestive, hormonal and nervous systems. Wine acts as an antioxidant and is a source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Last but not least, wine may help prevent diseases , such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s (as reported by Alberto Bertelli, University of Milan).
We recommend that our customers and wine friends read the brochure ”Wine Drinking and Health” – a brief, interesting and comprehensible summary of worldwide research on the subject.
