Dear wine  friends,

We’d like to acquaint you  with our estate-bottled wines. We operate a medium-sized wine estate in the Württemberg wine-growing Region, where our family has been making wine for generations. Niedernhall is a small wine village in the beautiful Kocher River Valley, situated about midway between the wine and cultural centers Stuttgart and Würzburg, and just  west of medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber

We cultivate our steep, sun-drenched vineyards in an ecologically-friendly manner – in other words, our  soil treatment and plant protection measures are as easy on the environment as possible.

We strive to offer high-quality, healthful wines by working in harmony with nature – a philosophy that also helps preserve a natural habitat for the rare plants that thrive in the rows between the vines, such as wild tulips, grape hyacinths and lamb’s lettuce.

Professional training, years of practical experience in the cellar and an appreciation of local wine traditions help us pursue our goal of producing agreeable, hearty wines that are typical of their grape variety.

We offer a wide range of wine and grape-based products. Some two thirds of our wines are dry in style; the other have some residual sweetness. Thus, there are wines suitable for every occasion and every type of cuisine. In general, the shell-limestone  soils of our vineyards yield wines that are refreshingly piquant and lively, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet.

Come visit us! We’d love to meet you, show you our estate and give you a chance to sample the quality of our wines. Our estate lies adjacent to a nature reserve known as the Forellenbachtal, or ”trout stream valley” – an oasis of peace that’s ideal for a relaxing walk before or after a wine tasting.
